He also volunteers at the Cole Neuroscience Center, where he administers cognitive tests to patients with suspected cases of dementia. Alex travelled to Argentina for a three-month study abroad program in Buenos Aires, to assist in related research projects at the LPEN and study Spanish at the University of Buenos Aires. He hopes to eventually obtain an MD/PhD and become a physician scientist to study neurodegenerative diseases or neurolinguistics.
